A spectacle of colour, dance and music
The biggest carnival of its kind in the North East, the hugely popular South Tyneside Festival Parade is here for the weekend on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 of July.

Come along to Sandhaven Promenade at South Shields seafront for Entertainment by the Sea - an afternoon of entertainment, performances and live music as part of our Summer Parade weekend celebration.

A warm welcome for the return of proms in the park…. get ready to enjoy a whole host of classical performances and singers at an open-air concert in the Bents Park, South Shields. Music lovers are invited to bring along their picnics and deck chairs, flags and voices ready for the best sing song in South Tyneside.
